Design for food

Design for Food is a very complex and crucial project designed by Alessia Galimberti and Mattia Poggi.
Design for Food is aimed at involving two worlds – Design and Food – in a scheme that allows to display the industrial and manufacturing skills of Italy and beyond, while highlighting on-going local transformations.
A review of the origins and potentials of local and economic success, a good reason to implement new ideas, also in view of Expo 2015, in cooperation with Enaip Lombardia, Fonderia delle Arti, and Il Cucchiaio d’Argento.
Temporary Restaurant, Showcooking, Theatre Shows, Workshops, Events, and Theme-specific features will display the ‘Savoir Faire’ through a series of events in the Made-in-Italy domain.
Design for Food cooperates with ARCHMARATHON and will provide a significant input to Expo 2015 with the setting up of a Temporary Restaurant with Showcooking sessions, which will lead on a journey across Food and Design.
