MAX DUDLER_archmarathon

Max Dudler was born at Alterhein in Switzerland in 1949. His academic formation was at the Städel Schule of Frankfurt with Günter Bock and the Fine Arts Academy of Berlin with Ludwig Leo. From 1981 to 1986 he worked as architect in the office of Oswald Mathias Ungers, participating in projects like the Messehaus 9, the Gallery and the Tower on the Gleisdreieck for the Frankfurt Fair in Frankfurt.
In 1986 he started his own office in Frankfurt, together with Karl Dudler and Pete Welbergen. In 1992 he opened an office
in Berlin (now the main office with more than 60 employees) as well as in Zurich and Frankfurt. In twenty years the activity of the office has extended to include diverse contexts, from town planning to reconversion, from monument safeguarding to interior design.
