In 1996 Boštjan Vuga and Jurij Sadar cofounded architectural office SADAR+VUGA, focusing on open, innovative and integral architectural design and urban planning.
The office has been driven by a quest for quality, with a strong belief that forward-leaping architectural production contributes to our well-being and generates a sensitive and responsive development of the physical context, broadening the imagination and stimulating our senses.
The portfolio of built work ranges from innovative town planning to public space sculpture, from interactive new public buildings to interventions within older existing structures. SADAR+VUGA’s projects forego adhering to a homogenieus visual and formal language and style. Each of them is developed from precise interpretation of client’s contextual, programmatic and pragmatic constraints.

Main projects:
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (being part of permanent collection of the Arhitekturmuseum der TU München),
New entrance hall of the National Gallery of Slovenia,
housing projects Condominium Trnovski pristan and House Gradaška,
sculptural object Fountain Solkan and
office and exhibition building Arcadia Lightwear.
Amongst latest realized projects let us emphasize Football stadium and multi-purpose sports hall Stožice,
Air traffic control center at the Ljubljana airport and
Cultural Center of EU Space Technologies in Vitanje, Slovenia.

Currently the office is the final phase of design of New Building for the Study of Social Work (SOAG) and Sports hall extension at the Campus of University College Ghent in Belgium,
the competition winning entry. SOAG building construction start is scheduled for autumn this year.
