EAA – EMRE AROLAT ARCHITECTS

EAA – Emre Arolat Architects was founded in 2004 by Emre Arolat and Gonca Paşolar in Istanbul, as the continuation of EA’s architectural practices as an associate designer at his parents’ office, Arolat Architects. Today, EAA is one of the largest architectural offices in Turkey: a team of more than 50 people, including Şaziment and Neşet Arolat, who later joined as partners. The offices in Istanbul and London continue the practice, completing important projects worldwide, ranging from high-rise mixed-use buildings, to a small mosque.
Cooperation with globally recognized engineering and consultancy firms is carried out using the latest technologies. Projects, solved to the smallest details, are developed in 3-D models and coordinated with engineering systems. Alongside the quality and detail of its designs, supportive supervision throughout constructions has proven EAA to be exclusive.
Present in the academic world, EA, himself, has contributed to the architecture programs of various schools, including Berlage Institute at Delft, Pratt Institute, METU, CEPT University, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts Academy, ITU, YTU and Bilgi University, where he was among the founders of the Graduate Program.
EAA has been presented many awards, in addition to Aga Khan Award, Mies van der Rohe Award, World Architecture Festival Awards and AR Emerging Architecture Award.
