Matteo opened his studio in Milan in 2007 after working as partner for Fosters and Partners in London from 1991 to 2007

MFS has undertaken projects around the world : United States, Arab Emirates, Kosovo, Maldives, France, Israel, Switzerland, Kenya, Uruguay, Caribbean Islands, India, Italy
On April 2013 Matteo Fantoni Studio won the 3rdprize in the International Competition for the “Padiglione Italia” at Expo 2015
From 2015 MFS started the collaboration with The Student Hotel, designing TSH Bologna Hotel currently under construction and TSH Rome under planning application process
Matteo has been visiting professor at the Brera Design Accademy in Milan holding a course in Virtual Architecture between 2011-14
In the last years Matteo held speeches in international conferences about future urban development, innovative approaches to architecture and design in: Indore, India (Taking design to masses, design relevant to improve everybody day life), Florence (Sustainable architecture) and Venice (Design earthquake buildings)
In 2016 Matteo Fantoni Studio opened his studios both in Punta del Este, Uruguay and Formentera, Spain,
