Bruner/Cott Architects – MASS MoCA
The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) is among the largest contemporary art museum in the United States. Housed in a vast 17-acre industrial complex built in the late 1800s for the Arnold Print Works company, the museum was completed in three phases, initially opening to international acclaim in 1999. Building 6 completes a 3-phase masterplan by Bruner/Cott beginning with extensive demolition and hazardous materials abatement to reclaim the former brownfield site.

Gonzalo Mardones Arquitectos – Totihue Chapel
The rural community of Totihue was using an old silo as a Chapel since 1972. After the earthquake in Chile on February 27th 2010, the silo resulted unusable and was closed.
The silo is a recurring image in the Chilean countryside, and this one had an important meaning for Totihue Community.
The project, made in collaboration with the local community, rescued the old structure including a new gabled volume. The new volume welcomes a new chapel, and the renewed silo operates as a funeral parlour and community center.

Ipiña+Nieto Arquitectos + Ossa Arquitectura – Brazilian Embassy
Our project was focused on tracing a thin line that made the diplomatic offices clearly independent from the Ambassador’s Residence, the “Palacio” from the Embassy. This will clearly show the visitor which is the relevant and historic building.
So, the project is articulated with a wooden skin that unifies the new volumes. This skin maintains a rhythm and separation between elements allowing an interior/exterior connection, marking the public aspect of the offices and making independent the private residence.

SuperLimão Studio – Fachada Showroom Riccó
SuperLimão Studio was invited by Riccó to develop a design to their new space facade in São Paulo (Brazil). With the aim to provide more visibility and convey attributes linked to a century corporate furnitures brazilian brand, the big challenge was to build a new facade to a preexisting building. The metallic wrap referes to the tradicional Origamis and was mainly inspired by the Miura-Ori model, created by the Japanese astrophysicist Koryo Miura. The project used approximately 600 pieces in composite aluminum plates, developed inside Riccó industrial structure.
