President of The Related Group, Condominium Division
Since joining the Company in 2002, Carlos Rosso has been responsible for a broad range of activities. As President of the Condominium Division, he has directed all aspects of residential development both in various properties in Florida and internationally in Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Uruguay. Throughout his career Mr. Rosso has developed more than 16,000 units, bringing his depth of experience in construction, project financing, land acquisition and sales and marketing to bear.
His broad experience in real estate includes having worked as Vice President of Real Estate Development for Investment Properties in Boston and ten years as Project Director for Besix International, overseeing the development and construction of over ten million square feet of multi-family, hotel and office buildings in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Mr. Rosso graduated summa cum laude from the Universidad de Buenos Aires with a Master’s degree in Architecture. He also earned a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development and Finance with the highest honours, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Fortune International Group, Vice President of Development
As head of Fortune International Group’s design and development initiatives since 2002, Mr. Salvat has helped guide the creation of over 4 millions sf of space worth $4.5 billion in sales. He has established and managed the company’s professional relationships with globally celebrated architects and designers.
In Argentina prior to joining Fortune, Mr. Salvat was an urban planner and developer for two of the largest and most significant Latin American real estate projects of the 21st century, Puerto Madero and Nordelta Ciudad pueblo in Buenos Aires.
He is a Founding Member of the Florida Chapter of the Congress for New Urbanism, supporting smart growth and the creation of vibrant and walkable mix-used communities, towns and cities. He graduated in 1992 from the Architect & Urbanist program at the University of Buenos Aires, and obtained a Master’s Degree in Business and Real Estate (MDI) from the Polytechnic Institute of Madrid in 2001. As a high-performance athlete and captain of Los Pumas, the Argentinian National Rugby Team, Mr. Salvat played in the 1995 Rugby World Cup and represented Argentina in more than 100 international events and competitions.
Alejandro Paredes Fontanals
Chief Operating Officer of Orior Development; Director of Real estate of EFC Holdings
For the past three years Mr. Fontanals has worked with these entities to advance their ambitious real estate strategies. Along with other members of the leadership team, Fontanals works with ownership to establish financial goals, business plans, and identify business opportunities. He is also responsible for overseeing some of the individual real estate developments within the portfolios.
This includes currently spearheading the development of Kala Club, an exclusive club and residential community in Coconut Grove that will feature one-of-a-kind homes by world renowned architects.
Mr. Fontanals is also responsible for the current development of two other projects in the Miami area totaling over 1 million square feet of mixed used space. Fontanals is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Florida and has worked in real estate and investment for more than a decade.
Before taking on these current roles, Fontanals served as a Director of Remix Financial, where he focused on identifying private and public opportunities for clients throughout Venzuela.
