Legorreta + Rogers Stirk Harbour – BBVA Bancomer Tower
Located on a prominent site in Mexico City, on Paseo de la Reforma, the tower marks a gateway to Chapultepec Park with skygardens overlooking the city and the park. The building is based on the reinterpretation of traditional office space organization, offering a variety of new flexible working environments for all users. Skygardens every nine floors create outdoor space within the tower and provide meeting areas where people can enjoy spectacular views.

ANX / Aaron Neubert Architects – Light Box
Dubbed the “Light Box” for its simple geometry slotted in acknowledgement of the natural solar conditions, the 2,200 sf office for a boutique property management firm discretely slips into the streetscape of tightly packed auto body shops, neon sign fabricators, digital printers, and various light commercial businesses. The design expands upon the urban texture of the street, while also carving out a bright, naturally illuminated respite for the office staff and their clientele.

Mallol Arquitectos – Mallol Design House
An existing seven-storey hotel, was the base for its construction. A recycled steel structure served the purpose of turning a volume into an architectural studio; using noble materials, such as concrete, steel, glass & wood, made it possible to bare the structure, transform the space and create synergy. The philosophy of the project is that the space itself promotes the creation of new spaces to answer a diversity of needs.

Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects – São Paulo Corporate Towers
The project consists of two 30-story commercial towers. The project also incorporates an extensive landscape, restaurants, and conferencing center above a five-story below-grade parking garage and loading dock totaling 258,000 square meters.
The towers have special prominence as the site location allows for great visibility from Marginal Pinheiros, the river and a major transportation artery of São Paulo. The design responds to this special site location with a pairing of two sculpted towers that form a dynamic composition.

Clive Wilkinson Architects – Microsoft Canada Excellence Centre
The ever-growing work force of the global tech-giant, Microsoft, prompted the company to relocate and expand their Vancouver offices into a 142,000 SF space in a newly renovated department store building in downtown Vancouver. The remodel removed the solid façade, and reskinned the building with a new glass curtain wall, exposing the spectacular views of the city and the surrounding landscapes.

Hembert Penaranda Officine Architetti – Edificio QBO
The cube with its six floors of offices leans on the commercial basement; to give lightness to the shape, we decided to treat it as a fractal: the facade is composed by modular elements which are repeated throughout all the faces. The defragmentation is obtained through the study of the detail: only one detail defines the whole architecture.
