This global organization has moved their Munich team into the three-story office of about 3000 square meters. D/DOCK developed a design which is completely based on their Healing Offices methodology.
The Healing Offices approach means D/DOCK researches who uses the space, how they use it and why. The studio then creates human balance in workplaces with designs that rejuvenate and enrich the work experience. It ensures employees are more productive, resilient and healthy. The pre- and post-measurements generate significant data to proof the success of this methodology.
The design is characterized by its openness, playfulness, softness and a high level of variety in terms of features and styles. The workspaces are connected by a core, that runs through the building like a vertical conjunction and contain meeting rooms, huddle rooms and concentration booths.
These spaces make everyone feel at home. D/DOCK selected and designed comfortable sofas, the designers even designed every single item in the office. A high level of tactility was applied in the materialization and a special color pallet was used to give the area a soft but dynamic look. In addition, the modular lighting in all areas really get their own unique atmosphere by the fittings of the core. The core is furnished with 3D-milled bamboo, which has never before in the world been applied in its bent form.
