As a response to the limitations that imposes the Colombian Seismic Code, the project resolved the structure through the “diagrid” system (diagonal-grid). This diagrid represented a greater efficiency in the transmission of the loads and forces to become the façade of the building. The composition through this big structural mesh of concrete allows the reduction of material. It also permits for the possibility to formulate different sections in the composition of the diagonals of the building. In the first floor we proposed a double height that allows for the best visual exposition upon arrival to the building. The mesh is denser on the second floor. The final gesture was to give a lighter glass façade that gives absolute presence to the diagrid.
