When Boka Restaurant Group met Chef Jimmy Papadopoulos, they immediately knew his restaurant had to reflect and complement his bold, bright and beautiful cooking, bringing the food to life beyond its taste and presentation, but into an experience that surrounded the guest from all sides. Thus, Bellemore was born, created to mimic the essence of a grand manor tucked into a light, airy forest, but reimagined as though the grandkids have moved in.
The space feels both grandiose and whimsical, with its high ceiling, warm wood tones and fanciful birds appearing throughout key art pieces. The floor plan circulates around a lofty centralized server station, dressed with large scale seasonal floral arrangements from a local floral designer. Chandeliers throughout the space are a custom creation with bistro globes interwoven into a brass floral weave design.
The 24 foot bar features softly lit brass pendant lights, a painted tambour front panel, a quartzite top, and comfortable plush velvet bar stools. Connecting people to the artistry behind their meals was a driving factor behind the creation of the experience. When sitting at the bar, guests are in view of the counter height chef’s table on one side as well as a small mixology bar on the other, and a glass-backed bookcase connects the open kitchen to the rest of the space, effectively drawing everyone into the atmosphere behind the scenes.
Bellemore redefines Artistic American by adding layers of welcome curiosity to the comforting familiarity found in one’s home.
