SAJO’s strong presence, both in North America and Europe provides the best solution for international clients who have their headquarters in North America and wish to expand in Europe and conversely for European-based clients who wish to expand in North America. At the heart of the company’s activities is a multidisciplinary and multicultural team of project managers, architects, engineers, designers, cost specialists and estimators, construction and procurement professionals, as well as site superintendents and contractors. A dedicated team of office staff supports and complements the operations group as well as a network of suppliers spanning across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Our experts work in an advisory and/or complementary capacity with client consultants at the onset of the project and maintain close collaboration among all stakeholders throughout the planning, execution and close-out phases of the project.
Through its more than forty-two years of service, SAJO has developed and applied its lean management processes, bridging methodology and integrated project delivery (IPD) system to all its service lines. In addition to its technical procedures, quality assurance programs, risk management and communication protocols, SAJO ensures a positive and respectful attitude with focus on constructive problem-solving and effective, collaborative solutions.
SAJO uses and implements state-of-the-art software and hardware technology from the conception of projects to their management and execution.
All operational procedures are integrated with our accounting ERP system making it possible to link financial data with the corresponding operational activities, in real time.
SAJO uses a Cloud Based Construction Management Software as a central platform for communication and coordination among stakeholders, from client to sub-trades. Users, both off and on site, are thus able to manage their interaction with the project through any web connected mobile device, tablet, laptop or desktop computer where they can have instant access to documents, drawings, submittals, RFI contracts, schedules, quality reporting and manpower logs.
As well, in recent years, SAJO’s internal Revit and BIM (Building Information Modeling) experts have been implementing BIM modeling on small and large projects.
SAJO’s newest division, SAJO FUTURE STUDIO, was created not only to stay current with emerging technology, but to drive its application in the practical world. Leveraging its experience in design and building, SAJO is able to create immersive and interactive experiences from 360 renderings to extended reality (virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality) applications. This technology helps to reduce interpretation of drawings and to resolve issues effectively. The use of interactive 3D models in immersive digital environments enables different users across the globe to interact in real time and make changes to specific finishes, MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) coordination and clash detection as well as guide complex or challenging installations.
Future developments of SAJO FUTURE STUDIO, will integrate extended reality with machine learning and artificial intelligence, exploring the potential of human-computer interaction and the blending of the physical world with the digital one.

Sustainability is nothing other than the attempt to safeguard the quality and integrity of the air we breathe, the soil we plough and sow, the water we utilize and absorb and the energy sources we consume. Simply put, we are bound to sustain the life sources which sustain us and in so doing affirm our connection with the elusive forces of nature ensconced in our universe.
In the domain of architecture and interior design, sustainability can be achieved through a myriad of forms. The first is simplicity of design. The second is economy of structures which entails the use of units that are flexible, inter-changeable, reversible, transformable, recyclable, renewable, or plainly durable. SAJO prides itself in its ability to guide professionals in the selection of products and structures of simple design for which there will be minimal or cost-effective maintenance. Thanks to its pragmatic long-term outlook, SAJO seeks to optimize maintenance for its clients’ sites, over and beyond their period of construction and completion.
Sustainable practices in the extraction, processing, storage, fabrication, transportation and waste disposal of building materials-be it wood, metal, glass, stone or cement-along with the use of non-toxic chemicals and procedures, reduces the impact of a carbon footprint and the deleterious effects of ecological disruption. SAJO promotes the use of recycled materials throughout the design-build phase and incorporates these in the design and manufacture of fixtures and furnishings, as well.
Similarly, the insertion of mechanical and electrical systems that are energy, water and waste efficient and enhance the quality of air are increasingly sought by designers and builders, cognizant of their responsibility to use both human and environmental resources with care, restraint and a sense of gratitude for their availability. Aware of the need to reduce the operating costs of both private and public property, SAJO conducts, upon request, computer-based energy simulations to optimize electro-mechanical equipment and building insulation. Following construction, the building’s actual consumption is measured to validate and perfect the hypotheses which will be retained for future simulations.
